    Polyaluminum chloride

Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is a commonly used inorganic polymeric flocculant or coagulant, often referred to as polychlorinated chloride or polyaluminum chloride. Its English abbreviation is PAC, and it is also occasionally called a water purification agent. Polyaluminum chloride is a water-soluble, high-molecular-weight inorganic polymer between AlCl3 and Al(OH)3, with the chemical formula [Al2(OH)NCl6-NLm].

The chemical formula for polyaluminum chloride (PAC) is [AL2(OH)NCL6-NLm]. Here, m represents the degree of polymerization, and n represents the neutrality of the PAC. PAC comes in various forms: liquid and solid. Based on aluminum oxide content, it is available in 24%, 26%, 28%, and 30% grades. It is also categorized by application industry: industrial, food-grade, and drinking water-grade. PAC has a strong ability to effectively adsorb impurities in wastewater through bridging. During dissolution, it continuously accompanies rapid coagulation, flocculation, adsorption, and sedimentation processes in the water. Compared to other traditional inorganic coagulants, PAC is a low-molecular-weight crystalline salt, and its structure is composed of diverse multi-carboxyl complexes. Therefore, it is widely used in industrial wastewater treatment, municipal sewage treatment, food processing plant wastewater, tap water purification, and drinking water treatment. Zesheng Water Treatment's PAC reagents fully comply with national standards.
